Patricia Suffern
Patricia “Trisha” Suffern is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work (MSW) degree at Liberty University after earning her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Palm Beach Atlantic University. She is passionate about helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges with compassion, authenticity, and hope.
Adopted from Russia at a young age, Trisha’s personal story has given her a deep appreciation for the many ways families and life experiences can look. Her background has helped shape a strong sense of empathy for those facing transitions, trauma, questions of identity, or feelings of not fully belonging. She believes healing begins through meaningful therapeutic relationships built on trust, respect, and genuine human connection.
Trisha has experience working with women and children experiencing homelessness and domestic violence through her work with Helen’s House. She strives to create a warm, supportive environment where clients feel safe, valued, and truly understood. Her clinical interests include anxiety, depression, trauma-informed care, self-esteem development, emotional resilience, and healthy coping skills.
She enjoys working with adolescents, young adults, adults, and families from a wide variety of cultural and life backgrounds. Trisha’s Christian faith also plays an important role in her life, and faith-based support can be thoughtfully incorporated into care when desired by clients.
Outside of her professional life, Trisha enjoys spending time with family and friends, discovering local coffee shops, watching sunsets on the water, and caring for her three dogs, Luna, Turbo, and Denver, along with her two cats, Steeler and Benny.
