Stephanie Sandberg
Stephanie is a graduate student with extensive experience in both the mental health and education fields. Her professional background includes serving as a care coordinator and clinic nurse for pediatric populations, as well as working for over six years as a behavioral health registered nurse with pediatric and adult clients. She also brings a strong foundation in education, having worked as a secondary school teacher and K–12 long-term substitute teacher.
Drawing on her combined experience in nursing and education, Stephanie integrates a thoughtful, informed approach into her clinical work. She provides clear and supportive education, administers appropriate assessments to help guide mental health care, and conducts thorough yet compassionate interviews to better understand each client’s goals. Collaboration is central to her work, and she partners closely with the clinical team to ensure care is comprehensive and well coordinated.
Her clinical experience includes working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia spectrum disorders, trauma and PTSD, alcohol and substance use concerns, autism spectrum conditions, and ADHD.
Stephanie is deeply committed to holistic care and believes it is essential to consider the physical aspects of treatment alongside emotional and psychological well being. She values each individual’s unique story and strives to incorporate personal strengths, needs, and lived experience into care. Stephanie believes clients and their loved ones deserve thoughtful, respectful, and effective treatment, and she works alongside them to support meaningful growth and positive change.
