Ryan Schlossman

Doctoral Student Intern

Ryan Schlossman is a compassionate and conscientious mental health professional who is dedicated to supporting growth, resilience, and self understanding in the individuals he serves. He views personal struggle as a meaningful catalyst for growth and draws upon evidence based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, to help clients cultivate lasting change and psychological well being.

Ryan began his psychology career at Emmanuel College, where he worked in the Lifespan Lab studying adults in their thirties and forties navigating high stress life transitions, such as entering parenthood or stepping into leadership and managerial roles. Although he was originally studying International Relations, the depth and vulnerability of the stories shared with him profoundly shaped his path and inspired a transition into psychology as a way to serve and strengthen his community.

Since that time, Ryan has gained experience across a variety of clinical settings, providing psychotherapy, psychological evaluations, neurofeedback, and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation. He is currently pursuing his doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at Florida Institute of Technology. His clinical interests include working with individuals experiencing anxiety, as well as those navigating developmental conditions such as Autism and ADHD.

Outside of his academic and professional work, Ryan enjoys reading philosophy, running, cooking, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with his dog, Wilson. He is committed to creating a collaborative, supportive, and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment where clients feel understood, empowered, and equipped to pursue meaningful and lasting change.
