Rebecca Realmuto

BA, Master's Level Student Intern

Rebecca Realmuto is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling intern at LiveWell Behavioral Health who brings warmth, empathy, and genuine connection into every interaction. Currently pursuing her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Walden University, Rebecca previously earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology through Keiser University after graduating from MCL. Her educational journey reflects a lifelong passion for learning, having also earned degrees in Liberal Arts and Interior Design before transitioning into the mental health field.

Before pursuing counseling, Rebecca worked as a design consultant, a role that strengthened her creativity, attention to detail, and ability to understand the unique needs of others. Today, those same qualities help shape her compassionate and individualized approach to counseling. Rebecca believes that meaningful rapport and trust are the foundation of healing, and she strives to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel seen, heard, and understood.

Rebecca’s clinical interests include anxiety, depression, grief, trauma-informed care, and helping clients develop healthy coping skills for life’s challenges. She also discovered a deep love for working with children and adolescents through her volunteer work with BrightStar Center for Grieving Children and Families, where she witnessed the power of compassion, connection, and emotional support during seasons of loss and transition.

At the heart of Rebecca’s life is her family. She is a proud mom of two boys, a devoted military wife to her husband Justin, and dog mom to Rory, a German Shepherd, and Leo, a Doberman. Born and raised in New York, Rebecca’s story with her husband began all the way back in elementary school, adding a beautiful layer of authenticity to her belief in lifelong connection and resilience.

Rebecca is supervised by a licensed psychologist at LiveWell Behavioral Health as she continues her clinical training and development.
