Mindy Tanner
Mindy Tanner, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, has been practicing since 2009. She holds a bachelor’s in Elementary Education from Lubbock Christian University and a master’s in Counseling from Wayland Baptist University. Her experience spans community mental health, treatment foster care, and private practice, working with diverse populations across ages, genders, diagnoses, and cultural backgrounds.
Mindy specializes in grief/loss, trauma (PTSD, sexual abuse), life transitions, depression, anxiety, addiction, and LGBTQ+ issues. She provides individual and family counseling, including faith-based therapy when requested. She also offers Neurofeedback, a non-invasive, medication-free therapy that improves brain function.
Building strong client relationships is central to her approach, using modalities such as solution-focused therapy, mindfulness, behavior modification, and goal-setting to support healing and growth.
