Michelle Scott

Michelle Scott is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse specializing in Psychiatry and Family Practice, with almost 20 years of experience in emergency nursing.

Michelle earned her master’s degree in nursing from the University of South Florida as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C), and a post-master’s certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) from the University of Miami. She is actively working to obtain certification as an Advanced Practice Certified Addiction Nurse (CARN-NP) since she is passionate about helping patients with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.

In addition to her time at LiveWell, Michelle works as a Nurse Practitioner in an inpatient addiction treatment center in Orlando. She has worked in outpatient behavioral health and with a fully remote psychiatry practice. She believes you can never know someone’s internal struggle and would be honored to help you with yours.

Outside of work, you can find Michelle spending time with her family, friends, and fur-child Benny. She enjoys traveling, attending any concert she can get to, and usually has her head buried in a good book. Even better if that reading takes place on a beach.
