Lillianna Vitale
Lillianna Vitale
Lillianna Vitale is a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at the Florida Institute of Technology. She is passionate about helping people navigate life’s challenges with compassion, empathy, and evidence-based care. Her goal is to create a collaborative therapeutic environment where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered.
Her clinical background spans community mental health, competency restoration, psychological assessment, and forensic settings. She has worked with individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma-related concerns, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and personality disorders. With a strong interest in psychological and forensic assessment, she uses comprehensive evaluations to better understand cognitive, emotional, personality, and behavioral functioning and to inform diagnosis, treatment planning, and individualized recommendations.
Training in Child Advocacy Studies has deepened her understanding of how childhood experiences, trauma, and family systems can shape functioning throughout a person’s life. She brings a trauma-informed and developmentally sensitive perspective to both treatment and assessment.
Lillianna tailors her approach to each client’s experiences, strengths, and goals. She draws from evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and believes meaningful change grows from a strong therapeutic relationship grounded in trust, authenticity, and collaboration.
Outside of her clinical and academic work, Lillianna enjoys spending time with friends, going to the beach, playing board games, and caring for her two cats.
