Laura Hull
Laura brings more than two decades of clinical experience to LiveWell Behavioral Health, where she has devoted her work to helping couples rebuild connection, restore trust, and create healthier relationships. A Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Laura’s foundation is deeply rooted in family systems theory, allowing her to see not only the struggles people face, but the relational patterns underneath them.
Her passion and specialty is couples therapy. Laura utilizes the renowned Sound Relationship House Theory developed by Drs. John Gottman and Julie Gottman, with whom she had the privilege of training personally earlier in her career. Her approach blends clinical expertise with warmth, wisdom, and practical tools that help couples move from disconnection and conflict toward deeper understanding and lasting intimacy.
Throughout her career, Laura has worked extensively with individuals, couples, and families navigating a wide range of emotional and relational challenges. At LiveWell, she has intentionally chosen to focus her work on couples, investing her years of experience into helping relationships heal and thrive.
In addition to her clinical work, Laura is a qualified supervisor for both LMFTs and LMHCs, mentoring and shaping the next generation of therapists. She also served as a former Associate Professor of Psychology and was the lead author of a collaborative book published in 2018.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Laura’s greatest joy is her family. She and her husband have been happily married for nearly 35 years and are the proud parents of six adult children and grandparents to two grandchildren. Outside the office, she enjoys traveling, reading, spending time outdoors, and making memories with the people she loves most.
