Dr. Beth Mahoney

DO, Medical Director

Dr. Mahoney, DO, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her role as Medical Director at LiveWell. With a diverse and accomplished career in psychiatry, neurology, and addiction medicine, she is deeply committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to her patients.

She completed her residency in Psychiatry and Neurology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and her internship in the Family Medicine track at Riverside Hospital. She earned her Doctorate in Osteopathy from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Stockton College, and an Associate’s degree in Nursing from Gloucester County College.

Her professional journey includes over a decade as an adjunct faculty assistant professor at Midwestern University (2002–2013), where she mentored aspiring physicians. Dr. Mahoney is a member of the American Osteopathic Board of Neurology and the American Society of Addiction Medicine, reflecting her dedication to excellence in her field.

With extensive experience spanning inpatient and outpatient services, intensive case management, drug rehabilitation, and private practice psychiatry for both children and adults, she has a profound understanding of mental health care across diverse settings. She is also highly skilled in cutting-edge treatments, including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Ketamine therapies, which she integrates into holistic care plans tailored to each patient’s needs.

Dr. Mahoney is passionate about leading LiveWell’s clinical team in delivering innovative, patient-centered mental health solutions, ensuring every individual receives the support and care they deserve.
