Allyson Worthy
Allyson “Ally” Worthy is a doctoral trainee in Clinical Psychology at Florida Institute of Technology, where she also earned her Master of Science in Psychology. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from University of Florida, proudly cheering on the Gators along the way.
Ally’s approach to care is rooted in evidence-based practice, compassion, and meaningful collaboration. She believes therapy should never feel one-size-fits-all, and she works closely with each client to create an individualized path toward healing, growth, and emotional wellness. Her calm and supportive presence helps clients feel safe, understood, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process.
Throughout her clinical training, Ally has provided therapy and psychological assessment services across a variety of settings, including medical hospitals, inpatient facilities, and school-based environments. These experiences have allowed her to work with children, adolescents, and adults facing a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and neurodevelopmental concerns.
Her clinical interests include anxiety, depression, grief, trauma-related symptoms, behavioral challenges, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and learning difficulties. Ally integrates several therapeutic modalities into her work, including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), behavioral interventions, and person-centered approaches. She is especially passionate about using psychological assessment findings to better understand each individual’s unique strengths and needs, helping clients and families build practical tools for long-term success and emotional resilience.
Ally is deeply committed to providing thoughtful, ethical, and culturally responsive care to every individual and family she serves. She values authenticity, connection, and creating an environment where clients feel both supported and genuinely cared for.
Outside of her academic and clinical work, Ally enjoys exploring new restaurants, spending time at the beach with her fiancé, and caring for her two beloved cats.
