Allison Urso
Allison is an empathic and compassionate clinician in training who is currently completing a Master’s degree in Licensed Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. With over a decade of experience working with couples, she has supported individuals and partners through many phases of marriage and relationship development, offering guidance that is practical, thoughtful, and grounded in real life experience.
Married for 24 years and the mother of three grown, college-age children, Allison brings a deep understanding of family systems, life transitions, and the complexities of long-term relationships. These personal and professional experiences shape her work with adolescents and adults who are seeking to heal from trauma or develop skills to strengthen emotional resilience.
Her clinical interests include trauma-informed care, emotional regulation, and relational growth. Allison is committed to creating a safe and supportive therapeutic environment where clients feel seen, heard, and respected.
Faith can be thoughtfully incorporated into the counseling process at the client’s request, with care taken to honor each individual’s beliefs and values. Allison’s approach is collaborative, compassionate, and focused on helping clients move toward greater clarity, healing, and personal growth.
