Scarlett Sierra

MA, RMHCI

Scarlett earned her Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling at Asbury Theological Seminary.  She also received her Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Psychology from Catholic University of Honduras.  Scarlett has worked in the fields of Forensic Psychology, Clinical Psychology and Counseling.

Scarlett serves adult men and women of both English and Spanish speaking languages.  She specializes in the areas of trauma, depression, anxiety, life transition issues, substance use disorders and personality disorders.  Her passion for these areas has been developed from her work with women survivors of human trafficking and her work with women struggling with alcohol/drug use and mental health issues in residential settings.  She offers counseling from a Christian perspective when requested by her clients.  Her therapeutic approaches are individually tailored to her clients’ needs.  Her modality stems from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as well as Person Centered Therapy (PCT).
