Mental Health Counselor Student Intern

From the enchanting shores of St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands, Kady Harrigan brings a wealth of experience and a passion for making a positive impact to our team.

Kady is a proud graduate of Florida International University, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, complemented by a minor in Psychology. Currently pursuing her studies at Walden University, she is on a path to becoming a licensed Mental Health Counselor, with a specialized focus on addiction. With over a decade of experience in the social service field, her diverse roles have included serving as a Prevention Specialist, Senior Drug Court Case Manager, and Juvenile Probation Officer.

Her dedication to education extends beyond her own, as she's a loving mother to two accomplished children—one serving in the Coast Guard stationed in Maine and another embarking on her freshman year at USF in Tampa. Kady is also a doting grandmother to two lively grandchildren. When she's not shaping a brighter future for others or enjoying cherished moments with her family, she loves to indulge her wanderlust with travels to explore new horizons.
