Danielle Huber

MS, Doctoral Student Intern

Danni, a fourth-year doctoral candidate in clinical psychology at the Florida Institute of Technology, brings a wealth of expertise to her work. With a master's degree from the same institution, she has honed her skills in child and family approaches through coursework and practical experiences.

Hailing from the small town of Locust, North Carolina, Danni earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from Queens University of Charlotte. During her undergraduate years, she gained valuable experience in a large group practice setting and grief counseling organization.

Before joining LiveWell, Danni worked in the intake department at a local psychiatric facility, where she later completed a practicum position. Here, she provided talk therapy and assessments to patients across the lifespan, drawing from her experience in couples therapy to approach difficulties from a systemic and holistic perspective.

Danni’s passion lies in working with diverse clients across various presenting concerns, particularly children, adolescents, and individuals living with severe and persistent mental illness. Her therapeutic approach is characterized by authenticity, vibrancy, and warmth, as she tailors interventions from a range of psychological theories to meet the unique needs of each client.
