Robert Ryan

MA, Doctoral Student Intern

Robert Ryan, M.A. is a third year Clinical Psychology doctoral student at Florida Institute of Technology. Robert graduated from Loyola University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Psychology and he later earned a Master of Arts in Criminal Justice specializing in Terrorism Studies from John Jay College of Criminal Justice while working with the Center on Terrorism.

Robert enjoys working with adolescents and adults using an insight-oriented approach that takes the whole person into consideration. Using the latest research and empirically validated psychological testing, Robert helps clients identify, build insight, and overcome difficulties using evidence-based treatments. Trauma, depression, anxiety, and substance use are not symptoms to be “cured” but rather life experiences to be worked through in order to build resilience for a stronger, healthier, and happier lifestyle.

Whether in the midst of crisis or looking to improve your performance at school or work, Robert can help you find the meaning and passion to live your best life.
